Fire/EMS – Program Instructor
Position Summary
HeroPrep program instructors develop, maintain, and contribute to our growing database of test questions to support our mission of preparing emergency responders in the Fire and EMS industry. As a Program Instructor you will be working with a small team developing and maintaining our database of program material.
With your technical expertise you manage individual projects tasks, deadlines and deliverables. You design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and practice study exams.
Requirements:
-Fire Instructor I or EMS Instructor certification
-Actively involved in the public safety industry
-Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills
-Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
-Ability to adapt to changes in work environment, work assignments, and/or changes in priorities

Contributing Author
Position Summary
We are seeking a savvy wordsmith to join our blogging team. This is a freelance position. Candidates must have a knack and love for writing and a comprehensive understanding of the emergency services industry. The Contributing Author will be expected to sustain and develop the company’s voice across all blog content. You are free to write about personal encounters, how to guides, opinionated pieces, and anything that would be of interest to the Fire/EMS industry. Articles are generally between 500-1000 words. You are paid per article and will receive a bonus if your article is of value to our community.
Requirements:
-Actively involved in the public safety industry
-Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills
-Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts
-A passion and strong understanding of the industry and our business’ mission
